About

I'm a first year Master's student at the University of Victoria. I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. Junling Ma and Dr. Slim Ibrahim. I studied physics at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops, BC, where I received my Bachelor of Science in June 2017.

For my Masters thesis I will be working within the applied math group focusing on mathematical modeling in epidemiology, using tools from differential equations on network models. In 2014 I held an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award, which allowed me to work alongside Dr. Mohammed Tawhid (TRU) on meta-heuristic optimization algorithms. From 2016-2018 I worked with Dr. Richard Taylor (TRU) on beamforming applications of conformal-circular acoustic arrays.

Outside of my studies, I try to take any opportunity I can to get outside and rock climb.
